Mobile Steam Cleaning Auckland — Hot Water Blasting for Tough Jobs
When cold water pressure washing isn't enough, hot water blasting is the answer. Our mobile steam cleaning unit runs water up to 95°C under high pressure — cutting through built-up grease, engine oil, food residue, and industrial grime that standard washing leaves behind.
Where Hot Water Blasting Works
When pressure alone won't cut it
Hot water is better than cold for grease, oils, and biological contamination. The heat breaks down the molecular bonds in oils and fats, which means faster cleaning, less chemical use, and a more thorough result.
Engine bays
Degrease and clean engine compartments on trucks, plant, and heavy vehicles without risk of water damage to sensitive components.
Workshop floors
Lift oil stains, coolant spills, and heavy grease from concrete and epoxy floors in workshops, garages, and service bays.
Grease traps & plant areas
Food-service and industrial sites with persistent grease build-up benefit from the penetrating action of near-boiling water.
Concrete driveways & yards
Hot water blasting lifts deep oil staining and biological matter from concrete more effectively than cold water blasting alone.
Loading docks
High foot traffic and forklift areas pick up organic residue quickly. Hot water sanitises as it cleans, reducing slip hazards.
Commercial kitchens & forecourts
External kitchen areas, bin bays, and drive-through forecourts cleaned to a food-safe standard without harsh chemistry.
How our steam cleaning process works
Site assessment
We check the surface, drainage, access, and any sensitive equipment nearby before we start. This protects your site and gets the method right the first time.
Chemical pre-treatment
Where the soiling is heavy or organic, we apply the appropriate degreaser or treatment and allow dwell time before the hot water blasting pass.
Hot water blast & rinse
High-temperature water at controlled pressure is applied to lift and flush contamination. Final rinse removes all chemistry residue.
Hot Water vs Cold Water
Why hot water blasting gets better results
Cold water blasting uses mechanical force to shift dirt. Hot water blasting adds thermal energy — heat breaks down grease and oil at the molecular level, which means less pressure is needed to get a cleaner result. Surfaces like engine bays, kitchen areas, and oil-stained concrete are cleaned faster and more thoroughly with hot water.
We carry hot water capability as standard on our mobile rig, so there's no extra setup cost. If the job calls for it, we use it.
Best uses for hot water blasting
- Engine bays and underbody degreasing
- Oil and fuel spills on concrete and asphalt
- Biological and food-service contamination
- Workshop and service bay floors
- Persistent mould and algae removal
- Pre-inspection cleaning for heavy plant
